It’s one of the most famous buildings in the UK, inspired by The Eiffel Tower and built in 1894, the ballroom itself is one of the most beautiful and famous ballrooms in the whole of the world, all with original plasterwork and an amazing painted ceiling.

The Ballroom hasn’t had a huge restoration since 1957 and we were in charge of restoring the beautiful wooden dance floor. Constructed of 3 different types of wood and made of 30, 602 separate blocks of mahogany, walnut and oak.

Nu-Life came and cleaned the carpets in our office which were very heavily stained with general foot traffic and spilt drinks. We also had sticky tape residue, from guide lines, which had been stuck to the floor for a year. The technician, Gary, did an exceptional and meticulous job of removing the stains and returning the carpet to the best it has looked since we took over the lease.
